HG Adele, Asemu Asuno use.

Hey there folks!   I recently completed my first ever pain job on a kit.
I used the High grade Adele from Gundam-Age for this particular project.

Though my inexperience does show, paint bubbles and such  I think that all in all for a first time it looks pretty dern good!

In case your are wondering I did not plan for the colors to be the same as the Age-2 Darkhound  I actually realized that it was RIGHT before i filmed the review for it.

Granted, its a dern nice color scheme, anywho!   Here are a few pics from said project, if you'd like to see the full review the video is up on my Youtube channel!   (^_^)v

The HG Valvrave 1/144th - Quick summery.

My recently completed Valvrave unit 1 kit.
All in all this was a very fun build for a high grade, almost has a full inner frame which in itself is astounding.
It comes with a few near effect parts, and quite a bit of weaponry - however most of which are clear and you must to the paint work yourself.

The kit comes with one of the largest sticker sheets i've seen, but it is still a HG so that is to be expected.
The tiny white pinstripe style stickers gave me a small headache, but in the end it looks quite good once its all done.

This kit has fairly decent articulation in the limbs and can get almost Master grade style bends in the joins.
However the hips are a bit stiff.    It has wonderful shoulder joints and like most MG's it is able to reach its arm to its other shoulder.

The clear green effect parts DO come molded in proper color and they are nice as when exposed to UV light they glow very brightly, thought it was a nice touch.

Below i'll show off some more of my photo's of this guy and if you'd like to see my full review I have it up on my youtube channel @ Click me: 1/144th Valvrave Review.

Wing Proto-Zero announced.

Hey there folks!  As most of you know by now we were given a treat from the Gundam-Ace yesterday in the form of a Wing Zero TV.ver (Ish) Master grade.    Something that many have been holding out quite some time for.

That being said, this is going to be part of the [EW] line, and as such it does have some changes being made to it.    The various Gundam blog's around have been doing very well to give us scans which are quite nice.

I'd like to toss in my 2 cents on the design changes.

Here we have our original TV design from back when, personally I liked this much more than the Endless waltz OVA version.  The Feathered wings never quite did it for me.        Below, the new line art from the Gundam Ace scans.

So, what do we have here?  Well firstly, the name is being changed to become the "Wing Gundam Proto Zero"    Alright, seems okay to me and makes sense.

As you can see, the design is more "Modern" you could say, sharper and much more detailed.
Proportions have been altered to fit the theme of the EW series as well.

Other changes, it would seem they are taking all of the Yellow from the design and turning it orange.
The twin buster rifle threw me off at first with it's color change, but now I am quite content with it and speaking of, the twin buster has also been made larger.

The shield also seems to have some tweeks done to it as well.

Why all these changes? Why not just keep it the same as the TV version?
Well, the EW line in a nutshell was birthed from the Gundam Wing :Glory to the losers Manga that has been running recently.

It took the original 5 gundams, and spliced them with the Endless waltz OVA designs with color swaps to match the Old TV versions.   This new wing zero is no different.

Something that some may have overlooked, it gained hype but quickly faded into memory.

What you see here, is a photo from the Gunpla word expo (Japan) from  November 2012.
This was fired off on the last day of the event, it's a line art of the wing zero (TV) with the EW stamp.  People were divided as to if this was just random promotion for EW or a sign that a Wing zero was in the works.  The latter as we now know being true.

In conclusion of all this,  this is quite the good news for our friend Heero and those who are Wing fans.  Some will like this new design, some will not and that is fine, it is understandable.

Rock bottom line:  As far as my opinion on this design goes, I love it - its different slightly but keeps the core of what made me love the Wing zero back when and I know the EW Epyon will be happy (Or terrified) To have its rival in arms in Plastic model form.

The only big question I have in mind is how they will tackle the transformation aspect, we will see in time.

This kit is currently slated for an October 2013 release, Price and exact date to be determined later.

EDIT:  This image popped up recently, gives you a nice side by side of all the wing gundam/Wing zero variations.

MG 00 Quan[T] Full Saber & Zaku II White ogre

About a year and a half ago I did a large batch of photo's for these kits, however the data unit that I had them on was lost and with it most of the photographs.  Though I was much more in-experienced with the camera so I plan on re-shooting these at some point in the near future.
